"Enhance Quality of Life and Care for the Resident"

The Fir Park Village / Echo Village Foundation is a non-profit Society founded by the Alberni-Clayoquot Continuing Care Society in 1997.  

This Foundation has been formed to:

• To enhance resident care;
• To raise funds to provide for the development of capital projects and acquisition of equipment for Fir Park Village and Echo Village not otherwise provided by government or other sources available to Fir Park Village and Echo Village;
• To provide a medium for bequests, endowments and donations to further the objectives of Fir Park Village and Echo Village.

Your past contributions have enabled us to fund the following projects that have made a positive improvement in the quality of life of our residents for many years to come.

• Echo Village Dining Room Expansion Project: November 2000 - $150,000
• Fir Park Village Bath and Treatment Room Project: March 2010 - $245,000
• Window Treatment Project at Echo Village: March 2013 - $59,000
• Fir Park Village Renovation Project Phase I – Secure Front Lobby/Reception Area and Lobby Furniture: September 2013 - $55,000
• Wall Hangings & Art Décor for Resident Wings at Fir Park Village: September 2013 - $10,000
• Main Corridor Flooring – Yellow Wing at Echo Village: October 2014 - $18,000
• Window Treatment Project at Fir Park Village: April 2015 - $45,000
• Echo Village Dining Room Tables and Chairs Replacement: March 2016 - $32,000
• Fir Park Village LIghting Fixture Upgrade for Resident Rooms; March 2016 - $7,500
• Fir Park Village / Echo Village - New Bus Project; August 2016 - $50,000

The Fir Park Village / Echo Village Foundation is a registered charity and will issue a tax receipt for all donations over $10.
